DGFT Certificate
DGFT CERTIFICATE:
DGFT Digital Signature is one of the many types of Digital Signature Certificates. The DGFT Digital Signature Certification is for importers and exporters. A Digital Signature authenticates electronic documents in a similar manner a handwritten signature authenticates printed documents.
This signature cannot be forged and it asserts that a named person wrote or otherwise agreed to the document to which the signature is attached.
The recipient of a digitally signed message can verify that the message originated from the person whose signature is attached to the document and that the message has not been altered either intentionally or accidentally since it was signed.
Also, the signer of a document cannot later disown it by claiming that the signature was forged. In other words, Digital Signatures enable the "authentication" and “non-repudiation” of digital messages, assuring the recipient of a digital message of both the identity of the sender and the integrity of the message. A DGFT Digital Signature Certification is issued by a Certification Authority (CA) and is signed with the CA's private key.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO GET DGFT DSC
1) Latest Photograph of the Applicant.
2) Color scan copy of anyone of the following ID Proof of the Applicant - Passport / Driving License / PAN Card Copy / Govt. Issued ID card With PHOTO / Bank Account Passbook with PHOTO
3) Colour Scan copy of anyone of the following Address Proof of the Applicant - Passport / Aadhar Card / Driving License / Voter id / Latest Utility Bill (Telephone Bill / Mobile Bill / Electricity Bill / LIC Receipt / Water Bill ) / Latest Bank Statement
4) GST Registration Copy.
5) Copy of PAN Card of Organization (Other than Proprietor ship Company)
6) Proof of Right to do Business: - Certificate of Incorporation (In Case of Pvt. Ltd or Ltd.) (or) Memorandum and Articles of Association (In Case of Pvt. Ltd or Ltd.) (or) Registered Partnership Deed (In Case of Partnership Firm) (or) Any other Registration copy (In case of Proprietorship Company)
7) Proof of Right to do Business: - Latest Banker Attested 1 month Bank Statement (In Case of Non GST Company)
8) IEC Registration copy.
9) Authorisation Letter (In Case of Applicant is other than Authorised Person)
